Review: Rimmel Vinyl Gloss in 700Heartbeat
Hi beauties :)
Today I popped into town just to get some bits so I thought I would review one of those which was Rimmel's Vinyl gloss in a beautiful colour - heartbeat.
I really wanted a lipgloss that I would buy and use for everyday use - night or day.
I bought my sister a Revlon gloss in "Nude Lustre" and had a little try of it myself on Christmas day and LOVED it.. it's a lovely nude darkish pink colour and compliments any lips I think :)
So I was purposely on the hunt to find a cheaper option and came across Rimmel's
I must say, I am very happy with my matching skills because this lipgloss really is very similar to revlon's Nude Lustre, but even better - IT SMELLS AMAZING!!
it is like a fruity/chocolatey/vanilla scent? so random for a lipgloss, I love it :)
So far so very very good! Great deal as well at just £4.99 compared to a more pricey revlon

oooooooooh new products!

Have you been out on the town recently? (that sounds like I mean "out on the razzle" but really I mean have you been out shopping?)
WELL, it seems with the new year and Spring and new beginnings etc, brands have new products, and so, cue my excitement :)
SO HERE WE GO, a few that have caught my eye and that I may pick up...
You do not understand the seriously high hopes I have for this product. The brush looks awesome, although I've never had a Maybelline Mascara before... hmmmmmmm
Maybe I've mentioned this before... I'm not quite sure, but everything it says on the tin appears to fit my bill. I hope it won't let me down if I purchase! ;)
Seen this new Rimmel Glameyes trio eyeshadow on the Boots website and I must say, the colours are looking rather yummy!

Current song obsession
Hey guys!
So I thought I would share with you a song so beautiful - definitely my favourite at the moment! It's on repeat ALL the time on my itunes/ipod. I really cant get enough. I first heard it briefly in the car on the way home from a wedding as my friend's mum (she was driving) had the CD in the car..
But ofcourse I was tired/half asleep and didnt listen properly.
BUT... my memory of the song jiggled when I heard the live performance on the BRITS, and it was stunning.
So here it is:

Happy Valentine's day! ♥

I know it's a bit late, well only by a day so you can forgive me! But... HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
I hope you all had a wonderful loving filled day :)
I know I enjoyed mine a lot. I would tell you all the little gifts I got and tell you what lovely restaurant me and "my love" went to but sadly there was none of that this year. Well, I say sadly, but I'm not sad :) Because I still had a very enjoyable day!
My friends and I also went out for the night on Sunday which was very fun; Valentine's for me is a night out with my girls haha!
Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and are feeling the love! Thanks for visiting

Not That Kind of Girl...
Hi everyone!
How are you all? So I'm just back from school, it's been a really long day! I'm just chilling in my pyjamas and I remembered my book that I'm reading at the minute. So I thought hmm, seeing as I'm nearing it's ending (I've been reading this book for a VERY VERY VERRRRY long time. I'm trying to remember when I bought it and it must have been around... Summer? maybe September? I couldn't even tell you! Anyway it's taken me long to get through like all the books I read!)
So yes, like I said, I'm not exactly a slow reader. I just don't read a chapter every single night kind of thing. That's really just because of homework and school and kind of abandoning my poor novel!
ANYWAY, sorry I am so off track. The Book is called Not That Kind of Girl and it is by Catherine Alliott.
I'll have a quick chat on the cover to start with. I really think it's gorgeous! I remember exactly the day I bought this. I walked into WHSmith very last minute thinking, "right. I am in here to get a book...I don't know which one but I've got to be quick". It was as if this book was sent to me because literally I walked in and my feet just took me to a random shelf and I grabbed it. Looked at it. Thought hey, that looks nice, let's buy it.
CRAZY! :)
Main plot
I'll try and summarise this as best I can! (I'll probably leave out a vital part of the story, I tend to do that...)
Basically the main character is Henrietta, or Henny. A very likeable character who is quite hilarious. She is a mother of two children and the wife of Marcus. (I'm not going to lie, I'll google the plot now...)
"Henrietta Tate is a desperate housewife. Her two teenage kids are now away at boarding school and she is left home while other women in her rural upper class village work in the city.
So she gets a job working as a PA for an extremely handsome military historian named Laurence.
However, after accidentally taking three sleeping pills and a double gin and tonic, a lunch date with her boss becomes a disaster. Her husband Marcus enters their London flat to see her kissing her boss!
Marcus asks for a separation and Henrietta (or Henny as she is known) stays in the London flat, while Marcus, who runs a successful production company, fends for himself at the village farm.
It's a traumatic time for Henny, dealing with the separation and getting over the embarrassment with her boss, however she is able to keep her job.
She finds an email from Marcus' horse trainer that showed he had a romantic affair.
In retaliation, she hooks up with her ex-fiance Rupert, and finds her attraction to him stronger than ever. She must choose between Rupert or Marcus."
So that is the main overview. I have about two more chapters to go but I just know the book will end as good as it is through out. It is so funny, cringe worthy, wild and of course romantic, sad and all together a great plot. The addition of characters such as Benji who is Henny's gay brother really add to the hilarity of the story.
I'm not going to lie gals, I found myself quite tearful too! (I don't want to spoil it all). Basically, I did get quite teary-eyed when Henny's father, who suffered dementia, dies.
Chapters contrast with others; there are laughs, tears, drama, embarrassment and love.
Not one of the characters are irritable or unlikeable.
All together a very very good book and worth a read :)

blablablablablabla ....etc
Hi my little readers!
It's time to bless you with a bit of a babbling post. BE PREPARED! I've basically got my music in my ears and am willing to type just about anything; no plans no topic, just general blablabla if you like! :)
I'll start with my week so far. To be honest with you lovelies, it hasn't been that great at all. My usual enemy - Stress - is not even the problem here! It is just the day to day routine in general...and the fact it SNOWED on Monday. That is rather mental.
So it snowed in the morning on Monday and I do not mean snowed I mean BLIZZARDeded..? Yes. Blizzarded. It was madness. I got blown all over the snow and my umbrella was dancing in the wind (but not in a nice way.)
Then, this van/car/lorry (honestly cannot remember) drove past. Throwing a big delicious puddle of muddy cold water alllllll over me. Now this was no tiny splash kids this was majoosive. All over. I was wet and smelt of dog for the whole of my Monday.
As you can tell, I am in one of those moods. (Oh God, those moods!) So please, I apologise for being a pain. I'm just really in the mood to complain!
Another largely significant topic I shall leave out, or else I think I may go insane. Let's just say my circle of chums I am finding rather irritable this week. (and for anyone wondering, I honestly think this is normal. Like come on, we spend every single day together. Don't get me wrong I love them all to bits, SO MUCH, but just this week...it's my mood okay. haha!)
But yes, I am also struggling through the cold at the minute too. My life is on a roll these days!
Apologies to you all for being a rather annoying little rascal. But yes, that is how I'm feeling right at this minute!
To enlighten the mood...
I donated to charity. It may have gone unappreciated but I still did it. Yay charity :)

My current obsessions :)
Hi Dollies!
How are you all?
As you may or may not have noticed, I thought I would switch things up a bit and go all "centre paragraphing" on you! You like? It's growing on me...
So anyways, I thought I would kick back into actually DOING beauty posts, as recently all I've been doing are random posts of my daily life etc etc which is boring, yes? yes.
So here are my current obsessions! (mostly beauty related!)
First up we have... SJP NYC perfumey:
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. This stuff is delicious! And look at this photo, I just had to pick it, it is amazing! The packaging of this perfume is so groovy. It's like Zebra printm butterflies, random patterns, leopard etc etc ALL IN ONE!
Trust me, if you love fruity perfume - get this :)
Next up is: Silvikrin hairspray
Apologies for the blurry-ish photo. This hairspray is my favey by far! I've been through quite a lot that are more expensive than this. You can get this in the biggest can EVER for around £2-£3! Such a good deal as it lasts so long and works really well. Not sticky, brushes out easily and keeps styles in place without looking like you are wearing a mountain of hairspray. LOVE!

My next thing isn't really a next thing, IT'S MUSIC :)
I've recently got my very first Ipod (yay!) and so with it came my major new obsession with music. I used to put music on my phone in like, monthly batches (when all the new songs came out) NOW - whenever I hear like one song, I go straight to my laptop and get it on the ipod ASAP! it's a bit mad :)
The last one I'll pop in here really fast is - Candles
I'm sorry, but how BEAUTIFUL is this picture?! I actually want these candles so bad.
So yes I am obsessed with candles recently - OBSESSED. I buy them like crazy, different smells different shapes different colours. LOVE 'EM!

Time is my friend today
Hi noodles!
So for once, I have time on my side (yaaaay!)
Usually when I'm blogging, I seem to be rushed or when I've started a post, I want to get it finished up as soon as possible... simply because I have so many other things on my mind - things that need to be done ASAP!
So today, it is currently 2.38pm, Saturday. I am sitting on my bed in my pyjamas. CLASSY!
Just a lazy day so I thought yes, the perfect time to just sit and really think about a post and to just do it! So that's exactly what I am going to do :)
I thought I would begin my time filled day by showing you some beautiful images I found on google; basically they are of styles and outfits that j'adore!
This Skirt - J'ADORE! :)
I have never seen Brogues with ribbons for laces before. That is why, for me, these are gorgeous <3
No copyright intended! I just found this on google and I'm thinking this is from someone else's blog. I just love these shoes and how they're matched with the skirt and top. Gorgeous too!
This too! Shows how a plain black skirt and tights can look so much more beautiful with a gorgeous top like this. I think I'll be on the hunt for a similar top for myself, I LOVE it :)
I love how simple this is. A really plain dress with some nude heels is so classy to me. Very dressy for the evening and can also be worn for day errands! Beautiful :)
So that's just a couple I have found whilst searching on my best friend - Google <3
I enjoyed doing this actually; I think I may do a similar post later and maybe go out and try and by a similar version of the outfits myself! I would love to post those photos and see if I did good haha!

Happy February!
Hey Guys!
It has been a very long time indeedo, apologies on my behalf!
I've been very busy but gladly that involves finishing up exams! FINALLY!
Although all the preparation has begun straight away for the summer exams - yucky!
How are we all? HAPPY FEBRUARY!
I hope it's brighter and merrier than January, because January was disgusting (baha, a bit extreme, I just really hated that month!)
It brought pressure and anger and grr grrr grrr and stress! Thank jee it's over :)
I hope it gets sunnier too, really sick of the clouds and cold. AND IT IS FREEZING!
I'm trying to think of things to tell you but honestly there isn't that much. As you have probably gathered from reading this blog, my life isn't all that exciting compared to fellow bloggers.
